This included chickens, ducks and geese, and was also the Regional Show for the Lincolnshire Buff breed with 16 entries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><a href=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion-.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-131\" src=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion--300x225.jpg\" alt=\"sue-reynolds-show-champion\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion--300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion--768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion--619x464.jpg 619w, https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-Show-Champion-.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-130\" src=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds--225x300.jpg\" alt=\"sue-reynolds\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds--225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Sue-Reynolds-.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">By midday, the Champion was declared to be an apricot call duck s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">hown by Sue Reynolds from Thimbleby and this was her first major win.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">She also had the Best pair of birds, with Sebastopol geese, which have an unusual appearance, with their long curled feathers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><a href=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Maddie-Chenery-Horncastle-Reserve.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-128\" src=\"http:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Maddie-Chenery-Horncastle-Reserve-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"maddie-chenery-horncastle-reserve\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Maddie-Chenery-Horncastle-Reserve-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/eastofenglandpoultryclub.org\/eepc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Maddie-Chenery-Horncastle-Reserve.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Show reserve was regular winner Maddie Chenery, from Boston with her miniature Serama bantam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Other winners were Terry Marshall from Keelby with a large buff Orpington.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Club Chairman, Tom Holland had the best Hard Feather with an Old English Game bantam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Sally Prescott from North Thoresby, had the Best heavy bantam with her black Australorp cockerel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Serve Coulber from Tattershall Thorpe had the best light bantam with his Silver spangled Hamburgh female.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">John &amp; Rose Watts, from Sibsey had the Best Rare Breed with their Yokohama Female.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">There were separate classes for Juveniles and the Best of these was won by new member Noa Pipes-Goulsbra, with a fawn and white Indian Runner duck.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Juvenile reserve was a call duck shown by sisters Jennifer &amp; Emily Dixon from Stixwold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">There was a reduced number of egg entries, as birds are not laying at this time of year, and the best eggs were a plate of 3 brown bantam eggs from JD Wilson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The East of England Poultry Club held the Autumn Shows at the Stanhope Hall, Horncastle on Sunday which saw 175 birds on display.
